Source is from the Library of Congress, from the World Digital Library: https://www.loc.gov/item/2021666855/
I prepared the following. It took months of work. Download the file that most interests you. If you want the smallest legible black-and-white PDF of the publication, download file #6; for the same in higher resolution for printing, download file #5. For simple reading of pages as a PDF in color, download file #4. The other files are ZIP and TAR collections of image files. I do not recommend file #1 because that original collection of images from Library of Congress has content issues that I had to correct. File #3 is a massive download at 100 GB, which is probably not so useful to you unless you have the computer hardware for it and you want to see the fibers of the book leaves without reproducing the image processing steps for yourself that I took...
Download file #2 if you want the complete, corrected, unmodified document.
Download file #4 if you want a compact color PDF file.
Download file #5 if you want the full-resolution images in monochrome.
Download file #6 if you want the smallest-sized prepared monochrome PDF file.
1) cpvols12345.zip -- A simple copy of the source
Each JPEG2000 file downloaded into folders for the five volumes. Zip archive; 14.4 GB uncompressed. This is all the images of highest quality unmodified. Most images are about 4058x5821 pixels, 8-bit RGB color. Notice: This has missing pages, duplicate pages, and pages out of order.
2) cpsorted.zip -- The source that is corrected (you probably want this one)
#1, with every volume combined into a single folder, the page ordering corrected, the missing and additional pages inserted from a different edition, and duplicated leaves placed into a separate folder. Numbered according to ordering, and minimally named. Zip archive; 14.46 GB uncompressed. Image quality unmodified. Inserted images are saved as JPEG2000 to match the file format of the other images.
3) cpenhanced.tar -- enhanced legibility
#2, with book text page images processed for enhanced legibility. Un-printed leaves and non-textual images are separated into the separate folder and not modified. The legibility enhancement was done using the Graphic Converter application on mac, applying auto levels and an unsharp mask (5px, 50%, 0 threshold). Lossless color JPEG2000 images. TAR archive; 101.34 GB.
#3, but all images were saved as lossy JPEG files at 20% progressive quality and combined as a PDF document. Includes a table of contents. Excludes duplicate and "blank" pages. 5.1 GB.

*5) cpmono.zip -- the pages reduced to black-and-white monochrome color and cropped, for printing purposes
Sorted and separated pages, with the textual pages converted to monochrome using this procedure in Graphic Converter: auto levels, unsharp mask (5px, 50%, 0 threshold), adaptive histogram equalization, equalize 4 times (-1, -1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1), then setting colors to transparency for most of the pages as color #AB6F3C to transparency (9/100 tolerance) and alpha channel flattened to white and deleted, color #A99269 to transparency (4/100 tolerance) and alpha channel flattened to white and deleted, and to remove most of the purplish library watermark from certain pages color #9F4875 to transparency (9/100 tolerance) and alpha channel flattened to white and deleted, and finally black-and-white threshold at 134/255. Furthermore, the images were cropped to content, straightened, de-speckled, and manually touched-up. 1-bit PNG images in original dimensions (but cropped down) and 300 DPI resolution setting; most images are less than 600 KB in file size.*6) cptiny.pdf -- smallest PDF in monochrome, for reading purposes
A compact, small, web-optimized PDF that is in monochrome. It is #5, but the images are scaled down to 50% size with interpolation and DPI set to display resolution 72, then a monochrome threshold of 183/255 is applied, and the images are then saved as 1-bit PNG images that are around 200 KB in file size each, which are then combined into a PDF. This PDF includes only textual images and a table of contents; this file does not include the book cover images, blank pages, or duplicate pages.
I hope these files are useful to you. Good luck with your noble endeavors.
